Corporate Responsibility
Acting responsibly as a business is the starting point for everything we do.
Our approach to Corporate Responsibility (CR) ensures we concentrate on those areas that really matter. Corporate responsibility at Options 2 means that we safeguard the success and future of our company by taking into account economic, social, ethical and environmental concerns combined with clear and transparent company rules.
Options 2 has consistently shown that it is committed to the principles of good corporate governance: it is aware of its responsibilities as a company; supports the communities in which it does business; leaving behind an intact environment for future generations.
Our CR priority areas include:
COMMUNITY
Options 2 recognises that its activities have an immediate impact on the communities in which we work. We will:
- Engage and work in partnership with the community;
- Respect and acknowledge local cultural and religious needs;
- Respond promptly to enquiries from interested parties and provide relevant information regarding our activities.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Options 2 is committed to providing a working and learning environment which is safe for both our staff and the community we work in. We will:
- Ensure that health and safety is at the forefront of any activity undertaken;
- Promote and maintain policies on health &safety which ensure best practices;
- Measure, review and monitor our performance.
SAFEGUARDING
Options 2 is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, engaged in the breadth of our activities. We will:
- Ensure young people and vulnerable adults are given our highest priority;
- Identify, recognise and respond to possible indicators of abuse, neglect or situations where extra support to prevent abuse may be implemented;
- Support staff within the organisation;
- Ensure everyone within our organisation knows how to complete a safeguarding report form and where to send it.
BUSINESS ETHICS
We will conduct our business legally and ethically at all times. We will:
- Trade and compete fairly;
- Not tolerate any soliciting or receiving of any form of bribe;
- Report financial information in a complete, accurate, honest and timely manner;
- Treat our clients, suppliers and stakeholders with respect.
ENVIRONMENT
Options 2 recognises that environmental issues are a key topic for its clients, suppliers, employees and the community, and will work in partnership with them, industry and the regulatory authorities to improve the quality of life in general. To enable us to achieve our goal we will:
- Seek to reduce waste through recycling;
- Actively reduce pollution which may be produced during our business processes.
PEOPLE

SUPPLIERS
Options 2 aim to get the highest quality product, service and value from our supply chain. To ensure that this is the case we will:
- Assess subcontractors, monitor their performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimum performance;
- Encourage prompt payment in line with contractual arrangements.
CLIENTS
Options 2 aim to be the supplier of choice. In order to build relationships of trust and confidence we will:
- Communicate with clients and listen to their views;
- Adapt and change to meet the demands of the working arrangement;
- Work openly and honestly with the clients.
DIVERSITY
Options 2 recognises the values of diversity. We will:
- Ensure our policy on equality and diversity is implemented at all levels within the company;
- Aim to develop a diverse workforce that reflects the community we work in;
- Not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
