Redundancy Support

Redundancy can be a difficult time, and with so many different offers of support for individuals and companies it can be confusing.

The majority of employers have no previous experience of handling wide-scale redundancy programmes and are unsure of the best way to support the staff affected.

How Can Options 2 Help?

Options 2 can offer support to employers who are making staff redundant, helping staff on the first steps to finding alternative employment.

We will work with your business to provide redundancy support offering Information, advice, guidance, support and training to all employees under notice of redundancy. The support and training offered would be tailored to the individual in order to suit their needs and timeframes and could cover any of the following areas:

• Identifying skills, experience and strengths.
• Help to understand the job market.
• Creating a C.V. and covering letter.
• Interview skills and preparation.
• Confidence building.
• Careers advice, particularly looking at retraining, self-employment, returning to education.
• Managing the stress of change.
